• Great game! The graphics are brilliant although I can see some major similarities to the flappy bird UI. The ad usage is not overdone which is good and should not put people off playing it.

One problem which could be fixed is the file size. The download was not too big at around 20mb however after installing, it was near 70mb. I would recommend using cocoon.io's Cavas+ webview as it greatly reduces the file size. Most of my apps had a download size of around 30mb when using things such as PhoneGap and Intel XDK but after switching to Cocoon.io my file size stays under 8mb and around 20mb after install.

Apart from that, it's a great game and good luck.

Thank you very much for you tips and is it really a problem when it has some similarities to the flappy bird UI? and in my next update I will try to use cocoon.io

  • Fishy Eater is a game about eating other fish and becoming the largest fish in the ocean.

It can be really difficult at some moments and other times you can enjoy eating other fish

  • Construct works fine to do whatever you want, but don't expect the best performance like for example a java native app. I did this one time ago: play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... sek5494.rl

I'm creating a sort of whatsapp/snapchat app but its really difficult.

P.S i'm going to try your app because it looks interesting

  • I wonder if someone used construct 2 to create apps like whatsapp,snapchat,...

If you did I will love to see what you made XD

  • Here's a free project to learn or just to use

  • Put the Helper in a Container with the Zombie (this is in the properties of the zombie object) and pin it to the zombie, than it puts a helper to each zombie

    Like that: dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11035294/Scirra.com/capx/Pin%20_to_zombie.capx CAPX

The blue box is dragable, the button spawns blue box with helper

    Thanks it works

  • You need to limit when it runs. Either in "On start of layout", or we'd need a lot more details on what you are doing.

Blue thing is the helper but I need to put it on all the other zombies

  • for each zombie

    --create helper

    --pin helper to zombie

but it will create endless helpers

  • I have zombies on the map but when I pin a helper it only pins on one zombie and not the others.

So my question is if its possible to pin every object on a layout ?

If yes, how do you do it ?

  • Pin an invisible helper sprite to the zombie, slightly larger than the zombie itself. When player collides with or overlaps the helper sprite, do attack.

    Thanks it worked

  • I have a zombie that can follow the player but can't attack him.

    Can somebody help me ?

Why on Earth are you still using r178?

Please update to at least the latest stable as releasing anything made with such an old version can possible break due to the many fixes and breaking changes introduced since this version was released (aug 2014).

I didn't update anymore because I updated it one time and my pc crashed so thats the reason but I'm going to put the latest version on my other pc
