  • Ok i tested this one. file also attached

    int(RegexMatchAt(Player.AnimationName,"animation(\d+)", "",1))

  • regular expressions:

    "/animation(\d+)/"

This expression will return the number as a string, convert it to int

    [quote:3uaopvwy]RegexMatchAt(String, Regex, Flags, Index)

Process the regular expression Regex on String with Flags, and in the list of results, return the entry at Index.

    myString = "animation2"

    int(RegexMatchAt(myString, "/animation(\d+)/", "", 0))

  • Your image name has an "á" character, could be unsupported on the server. See if it works if you replace á with a (only a guess!)

  • Set physics to the object, make some boundaries, set the angle of the object and set some acceleration onto it

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Since I don't have a lot of money, I'm going to use the free plan for construct 2 to make some money, then I'll get a license. I'm wondering - can I use some songs (e.g. Pitbull - Fireball) in my games?

You can use those songs for copyright infringement.

You can't use construct 2 to make any money on the free licence.

  • I'm up to 11

  • 46mb for water?! how much is that in litres?

That article is an awesome read. But to implement it, it would depend on a few things including

    1. What kind of validation you have setup for selling the game.

    2. Do you want to make it fun or strict when it is detected?

  • Hi 7Soul, I've purchased a licence, am I allowed to recolour and edit these?

  • http://www.000webhost.com/ is a free host and they do a pretty good job at it, only thing is that they do popups, but they don't spam them and it's tolerable

  • throw in an epic story line and that's gonna be a hell of a game!

  • Ive used it on each of my game lunches it can work well if your Ads is nice and you pick good keywords and all that stuff, but if if you don't it's a waste. so when creating your ads be precise. For me just interacting on twitter and such has been more helpful though.

Yeah i think you do need to be precise with facebook, i've seen comments about fake clicks by bots with fb ads that add fake pages and friends to look "real" so it consumes an advetiser's funds. So since my page is for a game, I've also added the condition to show people who have "played a game in last 3 days", which should eliminate bots.

Thanks for the twitter suggestion, my twitter account is pretty inactive

  • I setup the ads and they were in "active" status and approved, CC linked to my fb account... but for some reason it never actually ran! Tried again and same problem...

Going to try again $1 a day for 6 days, check my settings and will update how this attempt goes when its over
