Upon messing around with settings, when I turned on poly frame, I saw how skewed the collision frame was.
I have made a few platforming games before and I have never has this problem, when my platformer is running, it gets stuck in the ground. It is not placed inside the box of the solid platform, and it only happens for a small amount of time. When the platformer stops getting stuck in the ground, then it dips up and down when running. There are no animation frames on the sprite yet.

I am trying to make a basic platforming game to better understand the Construct 2 platform. I already made all the animations for my sprite, the player, however I am having problems getting the correct animation to run at the right time. To be specific, I want my jumping animation to be the only one running when I jump. Right now my events are set up that I only go into the jump animation when I am standing still. Also, if I jump while standing still, (so the jump animation does play) if I move left or right in the air, it just goes to my running animation. I have tried using "If on ground" and "If jumping" and "If falling" with "else, but nothing is working. All help appreciated.

I've searched all over the fourms but can't find anything on animating sprites. I'm probably looking in the wrong place but I'm going to ask anyway. So. How do you animate sprites when a sprite moves. My game's character is a Megaman sprite. I have a RunLeft animation line, a RunRight animation line, and a Jump animation line. How do i get each animation to run when I move in each direction? Thanks in advance.
So, I found how to do it, for anyone else with this problem, here is how to fix it:
Open sprite editor
Click fill
Turn all values (Red, Yellow, Blue, ALPHA too, ect.) to 0
click on the white areas
So I just downloaded the free version of Scirra and I was going to make a game (platformer) by copying and pasting Mega Man sprites onto the project (I will cite) and there is a white background with these sprites, is there any way to get rid of that without having to manually erase all the white? Can I use "fill" to erase? Thanks in advance.
