  • Behdadsoft check out some of my game and you'll find what you need.

    here:

    and here:

    farsmile90 both great examples!

  • This is my little game call Chaos of war, and i just want to share the source .capx for everyone, i think it's will help all the beginner who start to work with C2

    Great job farsmile90

  • c2 optimization is hard especially for mobile look at this game i made (i use physics and alot of stuff but no lag ever !)

(with c2 if you make a game in 1 day you must spend 2 day for optimization !)

    play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rts.mahdi.heydarzadeh

but if you want to make a html5 game i say c2 is the best

if c3 be nativ or be like a asset for unity that can sell so much

Tried your link but didn't work.

What regions have you published this in?

  • Hi,

[quote:1o8dzjwf]Scirra hosts a free official signalling server at wss://multiplayer.scirra.com, running on a high-end dedicated server with a gigabit connection.

    https://www.scirra.com/store/game-making-tools/multiplayer-signalling-server-161

    What would this machine be?

What server specifications have other people been using?

Looking to spec up an AWS to run an instance of signalling server.

    Thanks.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Hi,

I was unable to connect more than 12 clients to the Scirra Multiplayer signalling server.

Is this by design or did I reach some cap?

I was connecting all from the same IP address.

    Thanks.

    AWESOME danuyos

Some how my original post did not post....When we found your tutorial we were quite excited, but then saddened when it seemed to have been pulled down.

As suggested here: are-you-interested-in-a-fighting-game-tutorial_p884313?#p884313 it may be wise for you to cross link this post and edit the top post of that thread to point to this one.

We made the assumption that you were probably turning it into a template and we were right <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" />

Anyway, we have bought a copy already and we shall try to get a game out using this template ASAP.

Once it is out we'll post a link to it here.

We've just had a quick look at the CAPX and are very impressed with the quality. Once we've had a better look, we'll post a review on Scirra Store etc...

    Thanks.

  • danuyos is there a reason why this tutorial has now been deleted? Are you planning a template for the scirra store?

I'd PM you, but I don't have enough rep yet....

    Thanks.

do you have the capx? i am really interested on it, its a shame that i didnt check this thread before :/

danuyos - You should really edit the first post of this thread so that people can find your new project.

haifisch - Go and have a look at this beat-em-up-platformer-templates_t124000 and on the Scirra store for danuyos Beat'em Up / Platformer (Templates) scirra.com/arcade/action/183 ... otmer-test

  • And if it is too much effort to create a new forum altogether, another idea is to create a new category here at this forum. C3 or future additions suggestions.

helena agreed, this would be the fastest approach.

  • Good luck with the new version. Are you going to add a new forum maybe to collect all the C3/future discussions?

I think it's a bit early for that, but at some point yes

Tom Why not now? That way all discussions can be contained in one place. I had to spend a bit of time thinking where I should post this thread initially.

Now that construct3.com is available, it would be a prime time to put up a forum.

We don't like pre-orders tbh, more interested in getting something with value out the door before we take any money for it.

Tom I come from an industry where "Fast Tracking" is the norm. If it wasn't done yesterday, than it is already late. Millions to 10's of Millions of dollars are lost per day when there is a problem, so throwing money at issues to get them resolved quickly happens a lot.

Note: I deleted my other post as I wrote the wrong reply to the wrong quote…..

  • Not sure if this is correct forum location as there is no Construct 3 section yet

This is a copy of my comment that I posted on: scirra.com/blog/155/the-future-of-construct

[quote:1pbq0w81]Could you do a manhours estimate for Construct 3 and then do a kickstarter?

I'm sure the community would be more than happy to pre-order a version of Construct 3.

Considering that it is just Ash and Thomas doing the programming, with enough funds you may be able to hire additional staff to get it done faster.

    Just my thoughts
