  Whenever I try switching and trying to use the new runtime, I get a black screen on preview. I assume this is a bug? I use Google Chrome's latest version and Windows 10 Pro latest version.

  Hey guys & gals!

  I'm mainly a programmer, but can also do art, sound and music (gotta do what you gotta do).

  Since I'm capable enough to draw items, gui and environments, I am less capable in drawing characters and monsters.

  So if anyone out there is interested on working with me on a fancy zombie apocalypse game, that would be cool! I actually made a platformer with environments that you can literally blow up, but I honestly forced myself into creating a platformer and would like to transform the platformer in a side-scroller zombie shoot 'em up with lots of customization and fanciness!

  I would also make it a multiplayer game.

  I am trying to do a camera dead zone on x and y using lerp, so I have a camera object lerping to player.x, player.y every tick. But, when I try adding a dead zone with timed variables, the camera becomes snappy and weird.

  Maybe just adding a 'Set Color' effect to the sprite and then changing the parameters of it every 0.1s and then stopping that process when it reaches for example 255, 0, 255?

  Hey guys! I've been working on this for a while now and could use some feedback! Would help a lot, thank you!

  Tale is about being a generic platformer where you play as a monster in a world that is always growing around you, changing seasons, weather etc. etc. while having destructible environments and sandbox block placing mechanics.

  I did overcome the issues quite easily with some hacks, guess reducing the layers is a hack too, but not viable for all projects. I'm just curious if this is possible

  Since I don't want to use physics for the impulse in combination with a platform behavior, because things get very weird, I wonder if there is another way of creating an impulse? I tried on collision -> Player set vector Y 2000 for example, but it just doesn't cut it.

  If you want a more a typewriter with more advanced styling, then you can use the newly built in Typewriter text actions. That is, if you are using Construct 3 runtime, which is disabled by default.

  But, keep in mind, it is possible that some issues might occur with the new runtime, usually, there should be none anymore.

  If you don't want fancy text effects with it, the one posted by Frozen Well Studios does the job too.

  Only thing I found about this is: construct.net/en/forum/construct-2/general-discussion-17/layout-or-layer-effects-56936 , but that was 6 years ago in C2
