    I'm trying, with a simple button pressing, to change the state of an object between 3 sates in this order :

    1-stop and shooting

    2-moving right and not shooting

    1-stop and shooting

    3-moving left and not shooting

    but cannot find how to make it work :/

    Any ideas?

    after the screen shake behavior was activated, text from text boxes are all over the place.

    the text go down every time the screen shake is activated

    the text should stay in his original position

  • Hello,

    I finally have some time to play with game design ideas and construct2. I am learning, and of course I am facing some logic problems.

    I am trying to spawn a particular particle from a particular instance in a familly.

    right now i have multiples sprite instance in the familly (3 objects,

    maybe more in the future)

    On start of the lay out I spawn around 200 instances from the familly. When I click on it, the object will be destroyed, and a particle looking like the object should pop out of it.

    As the objects are the same sprite, I thought i should make only particle in a state which they dont move and then enable them when clicked, but Im not sure about this...

    Any advice?

    I already posted a question about something similar, but my question was not precise enough so here we go again :D

    So, previously I wanted to sort an object on the z axis to click and interact with it, but I forgot to mention that I will have many various object with different value to take in count (for scoring and randomize purpose), but right now every object are clicked in the same time which is not my goal.

    Is there a way to define which object are on the top of all?

    as a personal note, I really enjoy construct 2, i wish I will master it more!

  • Hi all,

    I searched on the forum about a solution for my problem, but I suppose im too noob so I do not find anything :/

    My problem:

    I have a top down view on a chest filled by gold coins and I want the player to click on every single coin. (click> collision > destroy)

    Unfortunately when i click on a pile of coin, the entiere pile is clicked and destroyed.

    Is there another way to made it?

    In another bug, it seems that "one shot" won't spawn any particles but continuous spray does...

    English is not my mother language so if you need more explanation, please just ask

    any ideas?

    Im new to construct and as new to programming as well, so for sure this manual will be very usefull!

    And as I can use construct offline only (traveling by train) I cant wait for a final version of the downloadable manual :)
