  • Can you do it - Yes.

Tut. for it - No (go through the beginners and then the manual)

    On Android - Yes.

Easy to get it to work on Android - Depends of how techsavvy you are.

  • ... really, no one? This cant be a hard problem...

  • Hey guys

I've been playin' around with C2 for a while now and I really like it and now I've come to the part where i actually is going to make a full game, with release and everything.

So i started on building a simple car/bike game, 2d sidescroller, nothing fancy, just to get the grasp from planning, designing and executing the whole process - and so far so good.

    BUT..

... I just cant make the bike/Car lean backwards/Forward in a nice good looking way - and this really bugs me - because with C2 it?s most likely quite easy to pull off. I tested a few different ways force forces, impulses, set angle and everything but it just looks like ... well ... crap.

So how do I make my object rotate clockwise or anticlockwise in a nice slow way (or accelerated up to a point and then constant)?

I've played around with; scirra.com/tutorials/240/physical-bike, I've played around with the behaviour for car 2d (dont recall the name atm) and I've read the manual and scirra.com/tutorials/65/physics-in-construct-2-forces-impulses-torque-and-joints over and over again but I just can't pull this one off!

    So too summerize

    Keyboard;

    w - speed up

    s - brake

    a - lean backwards (backflip)

    d - lean forward (Frontflip)

How do I create pull of keybord a and d.

  • Ah, perfect. Thank you for your quick answers.

  • I keep gettin' mails about there is a new r*-release.

Is it read about the release somewhere, to see what you've done with the new release - what bugs has been sorted out, what functions has been added, and so on..?

And is there a roadmap for C2? If so, where?

  • Man, that sucks!

I know there is an autobackup, but of course that really doesn't help you if you don't save. Not sure about an autosave yet.

Well, not that of a big of loss anyway, realized afterwards that there was many many things I wanted to do in a different way.

But if there is no autosave - then I would like to know if it?s on the roadmap for C2 or if there is a reason why there is no autosave?

  • Hey

I started a project and worked about 8 hours straight, but the bad thing is that I didn't not save at all. I know, stupid of me, i usually save like every 15 min or so (or use like a autosave set at 15 min). Anyway, computer crashed (time to get a new one) and everything was gone.

So, my question is quite straight forward

Autosave - is there an autosave in C2? And does it work if you haven't saved a single time?

    Take care
