well i'm no expert, but i could definitely give you some of my thoughts on how to improve/polish it.

i really played it a lot when you first put it on the arcade; trying to beat it and figure out the strategies of playing it well. but it also has enough depth to be fun and strategic.

i will take the time to spell out my thoughts once i organize them.

i would really love to see this on as many store fronts as possible, and there is no reason why it should not be possible. multiplayer would be awesome with this as well, but you would need someone else to help you with that.

  • mutuware,

    very nice.

just wondering if you had planned to progress any further with your card game. i really like it, and i think you could polish and publish it.

  • I've made an alternative plugin icon (the default is too standard and it confuses me)

    EDIT: preview

    tatogame, QuaziGNRLnose,

    [design rant]

not to argue, but i think the icon is anything 'but' standard.

it is a beautiful example of iconology, where 'q3d' is visually referenced in a subtle but very powerful way. i am sure that it took some time to conceive and design it. the fact that it appears simple or 'standard' is a testament to the design. there is a lot being said in a very minimal way.

excuse my design rant. i truly love examples of well thought out design that stem from simplicity.

    mr. ives would be proud...lol.

  • GROM,

this is not very 'elegant' but you could use the layered approach; put your semi circle 'strip' on top, with another beneath that which will rotate into view of the 'strip'. it would probably involve a mask or something of that sort.

sorry i cannot be more specific. i just saw the solution in my head when i read your question. someone the forums may know how to implement what i suggested.

    good luck...

  • NotionGames,

meh, you and your digital art show-offyness...lol.

excellent work sir, i am completely jelly( jealous ). is that a cintiq 22, 24 or companion?

would love to hear your thoughts on the digital work flow and the 'experience' of using it. i am strongly considering a cintiq companion hybrid.
