  Should be fairly simple, conditions 'if player is overlapping sprite' set arrow visible (or create it above the sprite if it doesn't already exist). Then you can say 'if player is not overlapping sprite' (right click and invert event), then set arrow invisible or destroy it.

  Long title, I know, but serious question. I want to have the player character overlap a sprite and have a small arrow appear above it. Then, when they walk off it, the arrow dissapears. By the way, it's platform type.

  I'm trying to create slopes, and I'm using a tileset. What I did is I made a slope, and then a block with the top right corner being slanted slightly. It works, but the player does not go up smoothly, and it's bumpy, but going down is not. How do I fix this?
