  • sorry. yes, i'm trying to make a 3d game with first person view. i need directional sprites of characters turn in different directions like in doom, when our player sees them from different angles during their walk.

i saw default cube setup, but it fits more for static objects and decorations i guess.

  • hello folks! i'm a simple 2d artist. non-official, but i draw all my life, haha. i can fit into most simple styles that aren't looking very serious. i'm pretty young and going through my college years. i learn quick and i plan on buying month or year subscription next month when i get money. trial version made me VERY satisfied!

basically i just want to have a coding friend who can i ask for advice. i won't force them to work on me, nah. i just want to have fun and listen to shared experience. i could help with some scenario thoughts or with backgrounds, sprites, character concepts in return for your time and advices. i'm not into pixel art tho!!! (sadly)

i just feel very bored without buds who are into game making stuff. it doesn't matter if they want to make something serious or just messing around. i'm here just for having good time.

my dumm portfolio that isn't too serious for artstation

  • hello pals! looking for your help as a newbie.

so basically i want to make our player interacting with other objects and beings in 3D environment. some of them may, for example, lead our player to some different places. and while they do it, they should have animations of course, and also should be 8 directional, or at least have front, back sides and 1/3 profiles.

how do i make it? maybe you have some useful tutorials or articles about it? i just saw videos speaking about "our player is 8 directional and shows its sides depending on the buttons we press and on the angles, etc". i get it, but i wonder how do i do the same directional things to other characters that our player would see.
