  • That's kind of my basic idea.

  • Thanks for the luck, I'm going to need it. I think I already took some of your advice, the main character can fight but but ONLY WHEN YOU NEED TO. You can have weapons but mostly only melee weapons but you don't want to get close because they can kill you quick and you go more and more insane the more you stay around enemies. It will be kinda like a survival horror/stealth game.

  • I have two questions:

    1.) How do you make a save system where you can click a save button, quit the game and when

    you get back on the game, everything is exactly the same as when you saved.

    2.) How do you make it where you have everything you had when you switch layouts. (like going

    out of a building)

  • Thanks a lot Deadeye! This will realy help. I hope I can make something scary in a 2d game (if that's possiable) I hope it will be a good game because I'm going to put 111% into this project.

  • I haven't wrote a novel, but I do regulary write Silent Hill, Monster Hunter and Starcraft Fanfiction.

  • Horror games are one of my favorite genre in videogames. There's nothing like jumping out of your seat and screaming you head off. This only happened when I was like 5-10, now I'm not scard of games or movies. (well, besides silent hill 2 and dead space 1&2) I was wondering what scares you guys, this thread will hopefully help me because my current project is a survival horror game called "ORIGINS"

  • I usualy a quick learner but this is killing me! I'll try putting it into different folders. I've tried a few already but I'll try some more. I realy want people to see the game I made in 24 hours. All I need to do to it is putting a score and music in, but that also has me puzzled. I know a damage indicator works the same way but I used another method. The more damage you take, the more red the screen gets. Although I can probably find help on other forums.

  • The wierd thing is, my laptop is virus free, I scan it once a week. When I ''try'' to make a .exe file I think I do everything right. But when I try to find the file, well I don't, I don't find it.

  • Ok so I look in the forums for a way to put a Score up and I keep hearing about global variables. I know there SUPPOSED to be in the projects tab right next to the transition icon but it isn't there for me, never has. I don't know what's up.I have the lastest verison of Construct Classic

  • I know you can make a exe. File or whatever but when I click on the file, it says ''what program would you like to use this with'' or something similar. This is my first time making a game that I want other people to play.
