  • I need to make a save point so players can save anywhere in the game, or at specific points. Either is fine.

  • I want to play an animation, a visual timer, from 12AM to 6AM on Layout Office.

But I also want to switch to Camera Layouts, and let the timer run as it would. The problem is, when I exit the Layout office to go the the Camera Layouts, the visual timer playing on Layout Office pauses, until I go back to Layout Office.

Is there a fix for this?

  • Also, have you tried giving the object with the animation the "persistent" behavior?

Ah, no, I haven't. Let me try.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Each layout is controlled by its own event sheet.. you will need to share the event sheet the animation event is with the others (right click event sheet to see options).

I think you can also set an event sheet to global now and it will be shared automatically...

No, I mean the animations plays whilst I'm on Layout A which is controlled by it's own event sheet

But when I click a button to take me to another Layout, the aniamtion itself (the animation in Layout A) freezes.

It's basically a timer going from 12 to 6 (0.016 fps), and I need the timer to still play (count to 6) while I'm currently switched to another Layout. I need the animation in Layout A to not freeze while I'm switched to Layout B, where I can't see the animation.

  • whilst I'm on another Layout?

    On Layout Start

    -play animation "A"

The animation does play, but when I switch to another Layout, or Camera Feed, the animation just stops. How do I make it continue even when I'm on another Layout??

  • I have "Set animation A" on Layout A.

But Animation A doesn't play whilst I'm currently on Layout B.

    How do I fix this?

  • Or layout?

I want to play an animation on layout A when I click a button on layout B. How do I do this?

  • I want to be able to scroll across a sprite/background when my mouse is left/right, like in the FNaF games. Can anyone help me?

  • ...inbetween them?

I'm making a FNaF spinoff, and I want to make it so each animatronic moves through their corresponding paths (I've rendered pictures to emulate movement, every time they move they appear on another camera). But I don't want them to move through each place every fixed time, I want it to be random.

    So something like

    Every X seconds

"Animatronic has 1/4 chance to move to next room"

And then afterwards they reach the office and stay there for a bit (unless the animatronic plays a jumpscare, in which case the game will end), they need to do the same thing, but backwards. And then forwards again until it ends.

    Can anyone help?
