  • I will try that with the current game I am working on. The reason I was unzipping and re-zipping before sending it to cocoonjs was just to replace the logo during loading with my own.

  • I hate to bring up dead in the water fish but thought it wouldn't be appropriate to post a new thread on the same problem.

I am having the same black screen issue when I try to unzip and then rezip a coccoonjs export. Even if I make no changes. I am using the built in Zip and I have Windows 7 Home premium.

    Should i download Winzip?

What could I be doing wrong?

I am highlighting all the files - right clicking and choosing send to zip file.

  • Hi Ashley... I gave upon Direct Canvas because of the black screen issue. I was just trying to use the phone browser method and I'm running into the no sound problem with that.

I agree, I think the appmobi side of things isn't really complete yet. Everything works perfectly and as expected when exported as regular HTML5.

I'm considering purchasing Construct2 just so I can try out the cocoonjs method. After purchase, can I still keep downloading all the new beta versions of Construct2? Do I have to re-validate that its not the free version every time or will it just know?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Same results here. Sounds works in the XDK if I put them in the Music folder but they don't work with TestLocal or TestAnywhere.

    I'm using Construct2 version 98

i tried with my Samsung Galaxy S and also my Kindle Fire.

If any has any tips or insight please post!

  • thesecretweapon - I got around the tiled background problem by deleting and just making my background one large sprite! It looks good in the emulator but I'm still having the white screen issue. I suppose that will not work if you really need the background tiled...

sheepy - I would make sure you have the latest version of construct2. Appmobi should be in the dropdown box at the top when you go to export.

I think im in love with Construct2 :0

  • Same problem here! Works beautifully in the appmobi emulator (Directcanvas is fast!) but the local and testanywhere screens are just blank and white. I'm not using any plugins that I know of... (would i know?)

I'm new to Construct2 (R97) and I think my game is pretty simple. I don't have any text objects or physics in it..

If anyone has had better luck or tell me what to look for please post!
