  • I had this problem either, but tought it was my firefox and changed to preview with Chrome.

    My firefox was not clearing the background too.

  • Nowadays, can we detect a tile specifc collision?

    For example, if player collide with tile 23 of my tileset, do that.

    Ashley, don´t you think that it would be a good ideia to put an advise into Wait or Function in the manual telling that we can´t use wait() into the Function? Or maybe in this tutoril https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/56/how ... ait-action, in the "For advanced users" section.

    I think it´s stranger in any part of the manual this "collateral effect" is not mentioned, or I´m missing something?

  • Sorry megatronx, I did not understand. Do you mean that Function works in a single tick?

    but why Wait() clear the parameter? It sounds like a bug to me.

    First alert() = "My String"

    wait() 0.3

    Second alert() = "0"

  • Does anybody knows why this happens?

    The first alert() shows me the string that I´m sending to the funtion, the second one shows me "0" (see img).

  • It´s old, but I found the answer here. I don´t know if nowadays there is a beter way to do that:

    • Layout propertie Unbound Screen: Yes
    • Background image must be bigger than your project window size.
    • Event: System > Set scroll X to LayoutWidth/2

    I had saw here http://caniuse.com/#feat=fullscreen but I thought that chrome in IOs would work.

    So, if I can´t fullscreen on IOs, I can´t lock the orientation either.

    I´m calling the "Browser request fullscreen" from a user-input event (On any touch start). But nothing happened.

    Testing from iPad 3 Chrome/Safari via wifi preview.

  • I set the projetct properties:

    • First Layout = Loaging
    • Use load layout = true
    • Loader Style = Porcentage

    The default loading takes 99% of the time and my loading just flashs, or even does not appears (9 sec to load).

    My loading layout has just text.

    Previewing with HTML5 in Safari and Chrome (iPad)

    • Sounds in iPad and PC: Ok
    • Music in iPad and PC: Ok

    Exported accessing from localhost Apache

    • Sounds in iPad: No
    • Sounds in PC: Ok
    • Music in iPad and PC: Ok

    Does anybody knows the reason?

  • Worked for me.

    PC: Toggle silent works perfect with sound and music.

    IOs (safari)/android (chrome): Toggle silent for sounds and "set playback rate to 0" for music.

    First layout: Loading

    Use loader layout: Yes

    But it loads everything with default loader and does not show the custom one.

    I turned a professional musician, but always developing software in parallel.

    7 years ago, in my son´s 4th birthday, I did a CD Room with educational games, then I realized the power of Education+game.

    Worked as freelancer for many years as developer till I start in a multinational enterprise that developed app for lenovo.

    Since 2002, I´m a co-founder of a education plataform based in games called Kiduca (http://www.kiduca.com.br).

    I´m focused in develop games with educational purpose.

  • I had a water effect in my platform game that was bringing fps to almost 0 on mobile.

    So if it´s IOs or Android I disable it.

  • After setting up my hero to run around (which works very good)

    Have you tried put just the itens you want to verify in the debug "watch" tab (clicking the eye).

    For me, the main debug tab run things slowly on Mobile.
