Let this game be a collab, you can't just say "ok you go make it" with such a big project
Uhm, wut? Alpha Masked? Tell me when this problem is solved, this is interesting.
Huh? Too much maths.
Should have been more clear. The Hero you control have the angle of 0( always), and when he collides with enemies from Super Metroid he gets sent to the opposite direction of where the enemy is. I don't alter the angle of the Hero sprite in any way. So, must I alter the Hero's angle for a fraction of a second, use vector X and vector Y stuff and then set his angle to 0?
While you wait, you can look at this sprite sheet:
spriters-resource.com/snes/sonicth/index.html
Hold on, Windows is lagging
But you said you are new here!
Well, you can do a loop like this:
A variable is set to a random number between 0.1 and 10
You wait this much seconds
Spawn your object
Wait 10- the ransomed variable seconds
And loop it again, and again, and again.
You are familiar with global variables, right?
So in a period of 10 seconds, an object appears at random time once?
So we have set vector X and set vector Y, which are kinda Apply force, but for Platform behavior. Speaking of physics, The Physics objects have a command called 'apply force at angle'.Is there any way to do that in Platform? I just have no idea how to convert an angle into X's and Y's.
Please be more clear. Nobody is gonna answer questions like that. Like, I mean, from what time to what time? from 0.1 seconds to 99999999 hours? P:0:OTIS LET THIS BE LESSON FOR YOU!
But... hats!
TF2 hats for registering Construct 2 on Steam. Ideas? Objections? Corrections?
*give me that haaaaatt...... HAAAAAAAATTTSSS*
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
OBJECTION!
Different levels might have different gameplay style, correct. But there is a certain game mechanic that will be common in all the levels! That is... non-linearity!
*Evidence present sound*
Recall my previous comment about squiddster's levels.
*FLAAAASHHBAAACK*
Did you see anything odd?
Yes. Almost every level was oriented around making games! That's why, almost all the levels must have this non-linearity mechanic, since you can develop a game in many different ways!
Uhm, back to the topic of this thread, any person got any ideas? Like, level plots, game mechanics, how are different characters going to be controlled? We need more people on here!
Why do people think that I ALWAYS mean evil? I didn't want to offend you.
