  • Level 2 for squiddster, making a sequel to Air Scape. He is trying to make a sequel to Air Scape, when suddenly, a gust of wind that was created by enraged mineet sends him to another dimension in the 5d array.

The god of THIS dimension tells him not to make a sequel to Air Scape, but make a totally new and different game.(Apparently the G-d of this new dimension is way smarter than ours...) He also tells him to collaborate with fassflash... from YET ANOTHER dimension, who actually makes good games. squiddster tries to find the more awesome fassFlash from another dimension.

  • Oh great! Now you are a female version of Jackie Chan.

  • fassFlash

I'm deeply offended by that comment; hours and hours I spent drawing the face pixel by pixel mmmmmmmmm

I love your new avatar and the drawing style; I've been watching your artwork develop with interest. The lifelike pixel quality reminds me for some reason of the classic Another World game (though the art there was a lot more blocky). I look forward to seeing what you do with the characters.

hi thank you, I really do have to develop my characters into a game .. Just looked at the Another world game.. my fellow tells me we have it on snes .. I do like the art style and that of flash back .. 'wishy washy style?

  • Why do people think that I ALWAYS mean evil? I didn't want to offend you.

  • Uhm, back to the topic of this thread, any person got any ideas? Like, level plots, game mechanics, how are different characters going to be controlled? We need more people on here!

  • fassFlash

I wasn't thinking you was mean.. I was just kidding ..

please accept this barbie picture that I dedicate to you

    no bad feelings !! <img src="smileys/smiley42.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • From what I understand so far, the point of this game is to be a Scirra community medley. If that's the case we could use different game play in each level depending on the games we're spoofing off of.

For example if we have a squiddster level about AirScape, make the level plays like AirScape or something resembles it - a rotary side-view platformer. Then in any level we throw in as many Scirra community references and meta parody as we wanted.

I'm excited for this idea! Would be really cool to have something fun that represent the community.

  • This thread is amusing...

  • OBJECTION!

Different levels might have different gameplay style, correct. But there is a certain game mechanic that will be common in all the levels! That is... non-linearity!

    *Evidence present sound*

Recall my previous comment about squiddster's levels.

    *FLAAAASHHBAAACK*

    Did you see anything odd?

Yes. Almost every level was oriented around making games! That's why, almost all the levels must have this non-linearity mechanic, since you can develop a game in many different ways!

  • Well then.

  • What if we made the game about..

Playing multiple characters from C2 games, each character fights differently, like Ubie (NotionGames) would jump on people, and maybe my unicorns guys can shoot, Clowns on a Plane guy can use Balloon bombs(?)

The main bosses - Ashley & Tom.

Sub bosses - Kyatric, Deadeye, Arima (Moderators)
