  • Find angle to mouse ( angle(player.x,player.y,mouse.x,mouse.y) ) and use that to decide the required animation ? (if angle is between....)

    Already tried it, its not working correctly. Angle to mouse always between -180 +180. You can check it by yourself

  • Hi people, I have a char with 4 animations (look up\left\right\down). i need to switch between animations, depending on mouse position on click.

    That example of what i need:

    i know one method, with sprites for each direction and check if clicked to switch. But i need another method, based on mouse click X&Y only

  • On key pressed -> Play the sound with tag "thruster" looping

    On key released -> Stop sound with tag "thruster"

    Try this and tell me !

    I already tried this, it starts play every tick while button is down (starts a new sound every tick)

    i need while button is down file "thrust_sound" playing, when released it stops

  • I have space ship with multiple thrusters, i need to play thruster sound from activated thruster while button is down.

  • I have a space ship with non rotating turret. I need to shoot bullet from turret when target in sight with period of two seconds(1. on the pic).

    When i use turret behaviour with "Rotate:no" it shoots only when target zero imagepoint get on one line with angle of turret(2. on the pic)

    When i use Line of sight behaviour, its shoots without period. (3. on the pic)

  • I have turret and i need to add new target by UID. Any ideas ?

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Press "Go" button (blocks will connect with their neighbors by physics limited revolute joints) Before press "go" you can drag and drop boxes to make another ship

    2. Press W and D to start rotate ship with thrusters

    3. Ship will start to band and after go crasy

    Observed result:

    After gone crazy it distorts and is throws from place to place

    Expected result:

    No bending (because Joints limited by 0 angle)

    i need strong connection between blocks

  • I think the physics behavior works in such a way that you can't really have a perfectly strong connection between 2 or more objects. Even a pin joint (something unimplemented in C2) is slightly elastic.

    It just comes down to the way the engine works, I think.

    Its very sad if its true. Becasue my ships like this:

    after been shot can becone thin:

    and when its thin and i try to rotate, physics gone mad and starts to throw ship from place to place:

    I have game with this code(zero gravity):

    and this on scene (black lines shows physics connections):

    When this construction collides with borders, all construction start vibrating like this:

    How to make strong connections without this effect ?

    i already find another way without pathfinding) i create big circle sprite, its invisible on start and have spin behavior. And when unit appears its pin to circle <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    What about circle movement with pathfinding?
