  • Hello everybody with another newbie question

    Im just trying to make a little game where the hero has to jump trough platforms without falling.

    I spawn a platforms with the "create object function". Once In a while I spawn a bigger platform (just calling a different frame of the same object) where the user can 'buy' upgrades with the coin he found during the game.

    As u can see from image I have a bigger platform and another platform above (the one in the left) and another one very close (at the right). So, all three are the same object but with different frame.

    I would like to avoid platforms to spawn above or close to the bigger one. Suggestion for this?

  • Hello everybody! Just a quick question.

    I did my project and I used a normal font, Fritz Quadrata but when I export the game and launch it from my web space, all the text appear as Arial.

    Where im wrong?

    Here is my today's doubt: I generally launch a timer (one second cycle) but i just find out that user can simply block time just changing browser tab.

    Is it normal? can i solve the problem in some way?

    That's sound interesting but I have still one problem.

    I have all the enemy in line. When someone touch the wall should add n. to the Y of each and change direction.

    Im able to change direction (with a boolean goLeft) but im able to add n. to the Y (basically send them down) only to the enemy that touch the wall. Is there any way to have ALL the object with the same name doing the same thing?

  • Hello, here is a new beginner question.

    Just to learn im trying to recreate space invaders.

    All the enemy are copied so have the same Name. I think the best way to change direction (on collision) is to place a sprite pinned to further to the right enemy and one pinned to the further to the left enemy. When this sprite collide to the wall, all the enemy are changing their direction.

    My question is... I have a way to understand which enemy is further to the right and further to the left?

    if i export the project and i put it in the same domain it works. But i have another question: is that normal that im able to print only html text and not php? there is a way?

    If cors is disabled, calling a page in the same domain would make some difference?

    I don't know if this is related but im able to POST from construct to my domain

    Another question: in this way if i reach 200 points it goes instantly from 0 to 200. I like to animate a little bit and showing the points going up . I tried with System - wait 0.5 at the the end of the events but doesn't work (im still working as i do in phph and js). Do u think there are some other trick to reach this result? thanks

  • Hello everybody. Im quite new and i have a problem

    I would like to animate my game over points in this way: if, during the game, you've reached 10 points, in the game over screen i would like to show the counts starting from 0 and going up... 1..2..3..4..5.. and so until 10.

    I guessed the best way to do this is a while loop starting from 0, and ending to 10. So i tried and i have 2 questions.

    1)- Why if i choose the while loop there isn't an ending condition?

    2)-If i try with the repeat (for n. times) or the for loop (until reached n.) the code doesn't escape when the condition is reached. why that?
