  • Hi guys,

I'm trying to build a "bubble shooter" type games.

I can't figure out a system that would detect when 3 or more bubbles of the same color are touching and would destroy them.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  • Thanks a lot for the F4 work around.

  • I want to do the same thing but even if I do a "Pick by comparison" it still only select the instance that was hit by the bullet.

Can any of you post a code sample to show me how you achieved it, that would be really appreciated.

    Thanks a lot :)

  • Take your time! You guys are awesome! Rest well during your well deserve vacations!

  • Ok great thanks!

I'll be waiting for the new plugin to be released. Any idea when it might be?

Very cool your non-profit app. :)

  • Thanks for the great plugin Lanceal :)

I was wondering is there a way to to use your plugin to send invitation to your game to all your friend list? and not just those who already played the game.

I've been trying to figure out who to do that feature for weeks.

    Thanks for the help :)

  • Hi Guys,

I'm working on a topdown shooter where I use groups to activate and deactivate what type or ennemies are spawned by the game.

I use a "Reset Layout" function to restart the "game" layout when the game is over and it works well as it reset all groups to their initial state.

However I wanted to add the option to go back to the main menu and from there be able to start a new game.

What I did was to give 2 options to the player when he is game over.

-Press R to restart: This work well

-Press M to return to menu: This kinda not work.

The thing is that yes I can load my "Menu" layout fine but when I go back into the game after going back to the menu, the active/inactive states of the group in the "Game" layout is as it was when player died instead of resetting to its original values (as it does with a reset layout function)

I tried many things but I can't figure out how to do this. Have anyone been able to do something similar?

Thanks a lot for your help

  • Upon seeing your updated CAPX, I'm not sur either why I was trying to use the UID. I still have a lot to learn.

  • Hi Guys,

I building a Tower Defense game and I'd like it to have a control scheme similar to Kingdom Rush but I'm unable to figure out how to do it.<img src="smileys/smiley19.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

For those not familiar with Kingdom Rush, the behavior I'm looking for is this one.

1-The player click on a predefined building spot on the map

2-A build menu appear over the predefined building spot.

3-By clicking on one of the option of the build menu. A Tower is built over the building spot.

I'm able to do part 1 and 2, but I can't find the way to make part 3 works.

I tried to store the UID of the buidling spot in a variable and use it to set where the tower is built but to no avail. The CAPX file is here.

    Any help will be greatly appreciated<img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    Thanks a lot.
