  • -- make sure you haven't copied the built APK files into your project directory. I've seen this happen in many projects that people have shared, if you keep stuff like that inside of your "www" directory it will be included in your built app. If you have no "www" directory then it is likely that everything inside your entire project directory is being included in the build, which is not good. Please double-check.

I've had a look and it seems this is exactly what I was doing! Thank you, everything is running smoothly now!

  • Have uploaded a new build of my game to Google play using C2 beta & new XDK, unfortunately the frame rate is still pretty awful. I was hoping the new versions of xdk/cordorva/crosswalk would fix this.

Are you sure nothing else has changed in your project? I don't have such size bump.

No, nothing else has changed. Strange huh?

  • Trying this now. The first thing I noticed is the file size is huge!

    In C2 it's 11 MB.

The old version of XDK with Crosswalk bumped the file size up to 50 MB, just tired the new C2 Beta and new XDK and it's now 72 MB!

  • Still haven't figured this out. Does anyone else know what might be causing this issue ?

    Thanks.

  • Thank you for replying. I haven't found anything yet but I'll keep looking.

  • Anybody, no, please?

  • Hey guys,

I've had a problem for ages now and I can't figure out what is causing this issue. I have published two games to Google play and the app store, both work perfectly on android devices but when the games are run on iphones the view is locked in portrait instead of landscape!

I have followed the "supporting multiple screen sizes" guide, I've studied it to see where I'm going wrong, but I can't see where. I have behaviours set so the game is locked in landscape (again, works for android) I have 16:9 ratio window, I have landscape settings implemented in XDK, everything says it should be set to landscape but as soon as it's published by Apple it switches to portrait.

Please, does anyone know what might be causing this? Any help would be incredibly appreciated.

    Thank you.
