  • Seems like I fixed it.

    For a first person game, setting each layers draw order to "Camera distance" seems to be a solution.

    So everything that can overlay each other visibly, should be on the same layer with the right draw order setting.

  • Hi everyone,

    sometimes some 3D-Object faces are visible through walls with no consistency what so ever.

    The same object might be visible or not, with the same Z-Height and same walls.

    in this example, the Vents on the roof are visible on the right of the screen, although they are behind the all in front of the player.

    Replacing the object with a copy of itself sometimes fixes the issue.

    But it seems it can't paste layers like paster can.

  • I used R0J0hound's Paster plugin in my last project.

    For my new one I switched to the C3 runtime and noticed, that the Pasterplugin is no longer working.

    I used it for creating reflections.

    Is there a c3 runtime version of the plugin or an alternative to create the same effect?

  • Hey Wulfy,

    you are right.

    Looks like the number was to large. Using a string would have been a solution. Problem was, I had to calculate with the number.. wich started the rounding process.

    I resolved the problem by letting the calculation be handled by my PHP on my server.

    I have a very strange error (or behavior I don't understand)

    when using the greenworks plugin, I't seems that construct reactes strange with the Steamid it gives out.

    the first number, is my steamid as it is directly read by the greenworks plugin.

    the secund number is my steamid when i save it into a global variable first..

    for whatever reason, it just changes the last 2 digits. it does the same, when i try to enter my steamid directly into the variable.

    why is this happening?

    I started gaming 15 years ago.. and creating my own game one day was always a dream for me.

    Now I finally reached my goal and I released my first little game on steam.

    It's a roguelike with permadeath within a world im building for a little franchise.

    Gameplay

    You choose a startingcharacter to get some early equipment and spells/skills.

    While playing you find more weapons and armor, spend skillpoints on levelups and buy skills and spells to create the character you want.

    The levels get randomly generated. The combat is roundbased with range, melee and spells.

    Story

    After the fall of Olea, the godess of Death, and her temples, the spirits can't escape from this world anymore.The link to the afterlife is cut. Confused and only accompanied with the last emotion they felt as they died, they roam the lands.

    As it was a time of war, most of the dead died in anger and pain. So their spirits are enraged and attack the people of the kingdom.

    You live in a small village, far from the capital but close to one of Olea's old temples. Your village was safe for a while, but now more angered spirits are spotted in the woods around the village.

    There is no real way to fight them. So all you've got left, is to journey into the temple, climb down each layer of its ruins and fight what lies within...

    All for a small chance to find out what happened to Olea and maybe bring her back.

    i have a problem with getting the achievements to trigger.

    These is my code for the achievements.

    The first line reports positive. Greenworks is available.

    I included the steam_api.dll, sdkencryptedappticket.dll into package.nw, and steam_appid.txt into the main folder.

    When i trigger the achievements ingame, it returns an error (barrel_brake sound plays)

    Where could i look for an error?

    i have a tiny problem with arrays.

    I'm currently creating a rougelike game with this tutorial by SupremeRobot:

    I'm not very good with arrays and have a question for someone of you who's better with it.

    I want to target a specific location on the map to create a special room there. How can i do that?

    Example: I want to have a spawnroom in the Middle of the map. So I'd have to override the type in that space of the array with another type... how?

    i need help with granting items in steam..

    The greenworks plugin enables me to add steam achievments but is it also possible to grant items with it?

    I want to give early-access supporters an extra steamitem but i don't know hot to do it.

  • Hey guys and girl,

    I want to target a specific Bone or imagepoint in a spriter animation imported to C3.

    Problem is, if i choose an imagepoint to Pin to, it always pins to the bottom of the scml.

    Is it even possible to target single Points in a Spriteranimation?

  • I'm currently using c3 on my smartphone (newest chrome browser) and find myself unable to install plugins I was able to install on my pc. Is it a problem on my side?
