you can set the face image with a sprite, and the sprite is already animated in 2D, so i just set the 3D object'S face to the animated sprite and rotate it 45 degrees and 0 pixels thick, and set the width to the animated sprite's width so when it mirrors it also makes the 3d object negative width and also mirrors the sprite. Since the sprite is in a container with the 3D object, the proper animation gets picked.
