  • Hey guys,

I could really use some help here...

I've been working on something in the past week and I can't figure out how to make this work correctly.

    (TEST link https://googledrive.com/host/0Byk93jIe6 ... index.html )

I can't get the worm to either just jump in left direction or move for a certain time in left direction.. It acts weird..

I'm sure you can imagine the way I want it to move if you try the game and see the animation/movement.

    Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

  • gumshoe2029 That seems like a legit way..

I usually go for Scale outer mode but for the kind of game I'm making (A SHMUP for mobiles) I gave a lot of thoughts (And tests) and I chose Scale inner Fullscreen mode.

Anyways I'll surely try that way when using Scale outer fullscreen mode, thanks!

  • Wow this looks really awesome! Great job so far..

I'll be following the game's news on twitter..

  • A small mobile HTML5 game.

  • Ahh well I though I tried that..

    Thank you remy-jay

  • Browser object is another object (Like the sprite object)

You've to add it by double clicking an empty space on the layout and then choose Browser.

After that make an action using the Browser to set Fullscreen to Scale Outer

EDIT: I just saw your image, your problem isn't about Browser fullscreen...

So you can have a better fullscreen make a bigger background in the layout (That's just to hide the white bars) .. Then re-position your User Interface items to the corresponding places.. This is really tricky so you either stick with another scaling method or learn this way.

  • What do you mean transfer assets over? Give some details so you get help

  • Hi,

I'm making a mobile game and I'm using "Scale Inner" scaling mode for it.

The problem is I can't put everything in place because I don't know what the maximum Y shown is.. (I'm using a tall layout) I've an action to scroll Y to 0 on start of layout.

So I want to get the Y point for every device but I can't get it.

EDIT: I've tried WindowHeight, Browser.ScreenHeight .. They're still the same whenever the screen scales..

    Thanks

  • You still have the exported files, just play the game and re-create it.

It's going to be tough if your game's long/complex but there's no other way.

  • It really is a friendly advise; if you link some of your work of any kind (graphics, games, music, animation...etc.) people could see and get a rough idea before jumping in.

ex32 as he said, link some of your work of any kind.

  • Hello,

I've recently made a team of 4 people including me.

I'm a game developer, We have a writer and a music composer.

We lost contact with our artist. We're looking for an artist to help us finish our game.

Not much is told about the game here, But here's the style we're looking for : http://twitter.com/I...498898700869632

Of course, You don't have to match the style, You can be as creative as you can.
