    so what about intel xdk ?!

  • so how can i disable intel xdk splash if i plan to use custom loader screen in C2 ? just not giving it a splash file or what?

  • Right now I'm using Crosswalk version 7 which has OpenSSL issue as mentioned, building with Crosswalk 10 to solve this problem gave me a very very poor performance.

    and I'll be happy to send you the capx too to check, maybe i did it the wrong way, I'm using sprite fonts not text and changing every sec for score and on collecting bulbs.

    window size : 800 * 480, but the layout is 25000 width with lots of objects and destroyed once they came outside the screen but no more than 8 instances appear on screen.

    I disabled collision for outside screen obstacles too

    I tried to remove bunch of objects and test with no hope so i can't figure out the source of problem.

    test device is Samsung Galaxy s3 mini which is in the middle between low and high end devices available in my country, if i notice low performance on it I'll know that it'll be unplayable for about 50% of users regards the android version.

    i can't understand why the performance dropped from Xwalk 7 to 10 which should be an "upgrade" ?!! what are they planning to do exactly ?!

  • How can i display splash screen instead of loader style (progress bar and logo) ?

    The splash from intel xdk disappear quickly and then loader bar appear, during this time i need only splash screen to be shown on screen.

  • I just uploaded another Crosswalk 7 version intro production, and I'll ignore GooglePlay Alert, I've no choice, , early reviews from testers on Crosswalk 10 version of my game was horrible !

    what about crosswalk 11 and its performance with C2 games ? any hope in the future ? and what about the next update from Intel XDK ? any improvements in performance ?

    it must be on top priority, so how come this update came with decreased performance ?!

  • I just uploaded another built with crosswalk 7 again and I'll ignore the GooglePlay Alert, I've nothing to do, the best result i can get ever is when i use crosswalk 7, very stable and i can activate High dpi and very smooth without pixel rounding or point sampling. it's just amazing and gave me exactly what i need for my game.

    any hope in the near future? what about crosswalk 11 ? or updating crosswalk 7 with new OpenSSL ?

    right now if you find "propaganda 1.1" it is the one built with crosswalk 7

    I found that canvas 2d is much faster than webgl and don't know why

    yes it's the same project exported twice (crosswalk 7 and 10)

    previewing the game over wifi gave me much better result but the best was crosswalk 7 + canvas 2d and the game was very smooth (45 to 50 fps)

    i tested on many devices with others, even powerful devices show dropping in fps when using crosswalk 10

  • After publishing my 1st game which takes a lot of time and pain, I received an alert (insecure openSSL thing), same alert i got from intel xdk telling me not to use Crosswalk version 7 to compile !!!

    so what i supposed to do ?! what is my fault ?!

    compiling with Crosswalk 10 (that resolves the openSSL issue) has a very dramatic effect on fps, dropped from average 45 fps to less than 10 fps.

    for 3 days i tried every thing day and night, nothing helped.

    So i've been forced to upload a new APK that has a very poor performance in both fps and image quality because i disabled "High dpi" option to gain some performance

    The average fps of the game now is about 20 vs 45 before with Crosswalk 7

    I just need an updated version of Crosswalk 7 with no OpenSSL issue.

    Crosswalk 10 is a disaster, and i don't know what is the purpose of creating it?! dropping fps of games in such a way that make them unplayable ?!

    My game called "Propaganda" on Google play (icon attached with this post)

    the previous version (built with Crosswalk 7 option in Intel XDK) you can download from egyptoon.net\Propaganda_v2.apk

    compare both versions and tell me what do you think.

    I'm so upset, and i really love C2 and its way of programming but i can't publish my game on GooglePlay any more

  • It's probably a problem in your project. I recently compiled a project with Crosswalk 10 and worked right.

    can you tell me exactly what settings you did in both C2 and intel XDK ? and you testing device model please.
