  • Good day to all. I decided to use the Photon plugin for once in my life and a question appeared, help me solve it =)

    The game is multiplayer for 20 players, each of whom must naturally take his place. It's like a board game between people, all of them sitting at the same table.

    and when 1 enters a room created by Photon with this table, then it becomes a player number / Actor Number (from Photon) first 0 for the first and so on 1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10

    The task is to place all players on empty chairs, i.e. do not seat them according to their Actor number, which is easy to do, namely, seat them on free chairs in this room,

    Tell me how to do this? Most likely it is possible with some kind of function, but I don’t know what.

  • How can you send all the data / or game variables from construct 3 to the MYSQL database table and also receive them from there without any problems.

    Specifically, I need to be able to:

    *register for a player

    *log in for the player

    *and transfer its data to the database, such as the number of points scored and the number of purchases.

    and so that i could easily get this data from my MYSQL database into the game Construct 3 without any problems. Does anyone have any options? or maybe the sources.

  • Okay, I just meant if you have photon related questions you would probably get better answers on the photon forums, from the photon developers.

    It should work the same in every engine, and not related to construct: The actor numbers are unique so it will be new/increased number every time someone joins.

  • the actor numbers are uique and will not be reused for other players.

    (But this question/issue has nothing to do with Construct, you should probably ask your photon questions on the photon forum or photon discord)

    It seems to me that there must be people here who made their games on photon, so I’m asking here.

  • have a problem about actor number.

    when i using "Photon.ActorNr" in my game i have some isues.

    Player 1 = Actor no.1

    Player 2 = Actor no.2

    Then if player 2 leaves and re join repeatedly

    His actor number Is increasing up to 3,4,5 and so on

    But only 2 people are inside the room

    Any idea on how to fix this actor no. Problem? I just want the actor number to reset proportional to how many people are inside the room
