  • I figured out a solution. just make every limb outward a sub-event, because technically every limb is a sub-position. Helps significantly with organization too. This has only worked for set position. Pinning is "one-event." Don't know if you can get it to work.

  • there is no solution apparently. is there a workaround? im on Release 239.

  • collide with the purple background and it will crash in chrome or opera browser.

edit: dropbox.com/s/fc6pyn72j3zlvf8/CRASH%20TEST.rar im new to this, hope this link works, if not, i emailed you with "OR block caused crash." as the subject.

  • EVENT:

    CONDITION:

    Object is overlapping object 3

    OR

    Object3 is overlopping object 3

    ACTIONS: Object1 Set Y to Object 3 ImagePoint Y(1)

    Object2 Set Y to Object 3 ImagePoint (1)

Nevermind... I can send you the capx file, lol its just wierd that the event up there would crash the browser with java script and construct 2 error.

  • i am saying the smallest .wav file i could go was 16-bit 11025 stereo without the construct conversion failing and causing the chrome audio issue. everything only went well if the initial conversion was success. i suggest not making .m4a or .ogg individually, because if the construct 2's pcm .wav conversion was a success, you know will have no audio problems there on out.

  • i am just going to warn you i discovered problems with pcm 16-bit wave files that didnt convert successfully with r114. sound effects wouldn't work in chrome but music did which doesnt make sense (adding .occ files didnt solve the problem). the solution i had was exporting adobe audition cs6 files with stereo 11025 hz which makes it compatible with converting and the chrome browser. it seems to solve all audio related problems i was having.

  • hey guys? are you getting a "music plays" but "sound effects dont" if your 16-bit waves dont convert, dont expect the browsers to work. :( i found the solution to this problem. you MUST open those PCMs and re-save them with a program that makes them into old-school microsoft PCM files.

  • i found the solution to your problem where you can only hear music. if you're 16-bit PCM wave windows file doesn't convert, then there is a reason for it... there is no work around such as adding a manual .ogg. they will still have the problem, im using r114 and fixed the problem. only certain 16-bit PCM wave files fully convert. if they dont you need a program that will create a compatible 16-bit PCM wave. then you will hear both the music and sound effects.

  • Try Construct 3

  • ZhaoYun, i found a solution to your problem. if your 16-bit .wav is not successfully converted, forget your compatibility with chrome. i even made my own .ogg to makeup for the yellow exclamation triangle that comes up when you import.... message me for further solution since i solved my problem.

  • same thing for me in r114... also both .ogg and m4a play at the same time in Opera. idk man.

in google chrome, music plays, but sound effects dont. while using r114 and Version 23.0.1271.97 m
