    For facebook playable ads they require that everything be inside one *.html file is there a way to export your game into 1 file so it can be uploaded to facebook?

    2dKit seems to be able to do it, I was just wondering if its possible in construct.

  • Do you know anywhere I can look at some properly implemented code to detect whether the silent mode is enabled on the device so I can mute all sounds?

    I am trying to get my instant game approved by facebook however they keep responding with:

    On iPhone and iPad, games should mute any sound effects or background music when silent mode is enabled. See our Instant Games guidelines for more information.

    I believe I have fixed this issue but they keep coming back with the same response, am I doing this right ?

  • Thank you both for the help on this! gamecorpstudio I took a look at your code and incorporated it into mine however the spawn new object is only spawning on the initial "hidden" frame and not on the ones that were generated by the event code. Here is what I have so far: cl.ly/1b94cb49dab0

  • Thanks for the reply Plinkie, I tried that originally but getting the individual sprite squares to line up side by side and get them to center in the middle of the screen is my issue, unless I am missing something easy here?

    I am trying to figure out the best way to design this:

    The 10 squares will be static and never change however the shape inside each block will be different and a different number of blocks will be filled at random.

    The one issue that I can see is aligning the container in the center of the screen then placing the sprites inside each box itself.

    I would like to select a random sprite from a family and then would like to duplicate that sprite 2-3 times, I found spawn new object and can select the family but as or right now it just selects them at random.

    Also on the other side of things, I would like to use an event on touch to count the numbers of sprites that were generated for that family.

    Any push in the right direction would be great.
