  • If you don't want to use the object again after blowing up, u can destroy on collision!

  • adding a little .capx file or image of your event sheet would be good. But check out how you are achieving your pause are you using a plugin or just changing time scale? If you are using a plugin, try not to use toggle pause on pause, set the state you want (either pause or run).

    Basically, ensure your pause is only affecting timescale and not resetting any variable as much as possible

  • rexrainbow, thans for the moveTo plugin, but i can add the behaviour to a tectbox, however when i want to select the action on the event sheet, its not listed in the list of objects to be selected. Is there a way around this or its not possible

  • Another issue is everything copies into one layer (for the layout) if u want to do all at once

  • I have this same challenge too, its quite hectic having to copy and paste objects and events. For me, if u don't copy the global variables first, the other events won't copy (so u can't simply copy and paste all at once). I hope scirra looks into this soon

  • Ok, so i just observed that my game is having this IE sound problem too, i've been testing in Chrome and Mozilla so i didn't notice.

    On running on IE IDM picks up automatic download of some of the sound and music files, but still doesn't play after i agree to download.

    All my sound and music files have the .ogg and .m4a or .wav format imported in the game, must they all have .wav even those that have it are not even playing

    I would appreciate some help, thanks

  • dan Blast, how did you work on the open animation on start of your game, and also on full screen mode, your game seemed to zoom in sort off, this u handle that personally. i would appreciate some tips.

  • Okk, I've been on this for a while and i think i'm tired

    of trying to fix something i cant see anything wrong

    with.

    So on clicking of a sprite in say Layout 1, layer 1 is to

    be set visible and layer 0 invisible

    on click of another sprite on layer 1 , action is to

    move to layout 2,

    but 'sometimes', my game doesn't even go to layer

    1, it goes strait to layout 3 not even layout 2,

    I cant seem to find what is wrong, please help!!

  • zenox98, Oops, so does the tutorial apply to construct 2, so i would know if i should search the forum for other topics on high score rather than downloading the classic

  • tulamide please can your check the link to the verve file again, the capx file in the archive is .cap and doesn't launch with construct. Would appreciate your help as i want to see if it would help in working around my high score creations
