  • Does remote preview work on whatever you are previewing with? Which CPU GPU is being utilized, the one where you are running the editor from or where you are opening the previewer?

    I'm trying to imagine what the performance limits are on mobile and since I can't export to iOS right now on C3, remote preview could be a temporary workaround.

  • The Seed features 32 different endings, procedural sound, choice tracking so it builds a psychological profile of your playthrough. about 400 scene specific photographs of devastation and postapocalypse and a subtle scifi element that remains to be discovered.

    It's a +16 PG though, and has graphic descriptions of violence and such. Don't buy it for your kid. Unless you know, he likes such things and you are ok with it.

  • I've got an iPad pro and I'm very interested in jailbreaking it if that means sweeet sweet C3 nectar! By which I mean I could use Construct 3 on the iPad directly by downloading a browser that isn't a Safari reskin and supports all the necessary stuff needed for C3.

    Any ideas?

  • Ashley, of course it shouldn't have an effect if mirror is applied, but shouldn't the mirror remain afterwards when you extend it? I realize the process is mathematically correct but the wording on "flipped” state and "mirrored” state indicates that once you apply it, it should behave as it is flipped/mirrored.

    It's a small matter, I'd probably never benefit from it, was just interested in getting it to be more intuitive maybe.

  • Ashley I found an entire petition to let other competing browsers into the apple ecosystem but so far no results.

    I've been following the situation closely since I tried my first iOS app using Construct2. It's a sad situation for us here and the potential is great if they ever fix their approach to this, but meanwhile I feel that I could do more to push it towards it happening sooner.

    What if it's possible to release an app with a barebones browser on the appstore? Sounds like people would go insane for that

  • They've just updated their Safari with experimental features. Any of these useful for C3? Any hope of getting the dream team iPad pro together with the godlike Construct 3?

    I've been dreaming of a subtle dark theme for C3 for so long. Thanks Paulo and Scirra team for making this happen. It really means a lot to me. And while it may look far fetched, it will most certainly influence the quality of my work.

  • Ashley in the meantime is it possible to make the editor a bit more compatible with the Windows Remote Preview on iPads? When I select objects on the screen or just drag and drop, it selects random objects and is unwieldy. This might be a multitouch issue.

    Is it possible to petition Apple write to their forums asking for support or anything like that?

    EDIT: I got it to work with a virtual mouse. It's a but insensitive (the mouse) but I guess this is the only option I have till Apple gets their excrements together.

    EDIT2: Just noticed that latest Safari supports CSS variables since 13 sept. http://caniuse.com/#feat=css-variables

  • troxx I didn't know thaaat. That's awesome! But I got iOS11 Beta and it says that this browser is not supported. Any links where I can read about C3 being compatible with iOS11? Just something approximate I can do the heavy digging. Thanks
