As far as I can tell, it's just a matter of exporting your game and then uploading that folder and it's sub-folder(s).

  • When I delete a project, it remains listed on the home page and if I try opening it, the program falls through and loads the next project in the list.

  • I have a generic [read cheap!!! hehe] tablet running android 2.2 that plays C2 games just fine. I posted the ghost blaster tutorial on my server and it played fine. . . except I forgot to add touch screen input to the game. oops! <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Try Construct 3

  • I can post some screen shots of C2, running on XP under Mint, I didn't do any tweeks, just a plain install. Give me a few days and I'll post how I did it. I will say that I haven't stress tested C2 under this configuration thoroughly, it may be one of those "seems to work until I do . . ." situations. My day job's been sucking the life out of me this past week so there hasn't been much time to fool with anything.

  • cute! I like it. the only thing that confuses me is it tells me it missed a house, but it looks like the present hits the house and it sends up a red heart, which i'm assuming is the score indicator. it's a good start, though. Cheers!

  • I didn't know if anyone tried this yet or not: I read the hint from [I believe] Tom about using Parallels to run C2 on a platform other than Windows. I'm using Virtual Box and XP under Linux Mint and C2 works fine. I haven't completed an exhaustive test on it, but the lag time for running one OS under another isn't a problem so far. I'm going to dabble with WINE shortly and I'll post my results.

    The machine running virtual box:

    Semron 1300

    2 Gigs RAM

NVidia GForce 6150SE on board display adapter.

  • I'm not following your issue: what do you mean by "...but still the menus are collapsed"? A couple obvious questions: 1. What is your user access control settings, 2. What anti-virus are you using and 3. are you installing the program with administrative rights invoked or are you installing from an admin account? I ran into this issue when adding an effect to paint.net. Everything else worked fine, except for pyrochild's liquify effect. It turned out to be my security settings were disallowing the .dll from running. Removing the offending .dll, switching to my admin account and replacing it solved the problem.

  • It also helps to differentiate between the two when building other, general purpose apps. Construct2 was built with games in mind but it, via ajax, should do applets nicely.

  • Greetings All:

Today, a free version user; tomorrow: early adopter badge! I found Construct 2 quite by accident. I've been using Game Maker but wanted something more than Windows Only without sacrificing the rapid development loveliness that GM provides. I really like Construct 2's Alice-style development interface; I wish my other programming tools worked this way. This is going to be a great adventure! Now, I'm off to explore AJAX tutorial. I'm looking forward to a great time here.
