  • I did that but it pushes towards me instead of away from me :/ What did I do wrong?

I use bullet behaviour for it to move towards me regularly. And I tried to disable that so they won't follow me anymore and then it works. Can I fix this somehow without using Custommovement?

  • Redirected my next question to a new topic: scirra.com/forum/topic64402_post394854.html

Thanks theubie for the help btw!

  • Is it possible to make my enemy to get pushed back smoothly like 7 pixels when hit by a bullet?

Is there even a plugin for this??

I want the enemy to get pushed back 180 degrees from the angle it was shot.

  • but what should be the angle then? "Sprite.X&Sprite.Y" doesn't work, neither replacing & to ,

  • Try Construct 3

  • Awesome! Works great.

Next question, is it possible to make the enemy get pushed back a little bit when hit by bullets? Like pushed back 5 pixels (smoothly) and start going towards me again?

  • Now the whole enemy rotates, I want the angle to stay 0 but it to change directions.

  • Hey!

Now I'm trying to make enemies in my game follow the character and try to kill him. I want to do this with bullet behaviour so they'll keep the same speed etc. I tried Yunn's FairyStalker capx but it was accelerating if it was to far away and decelerating when it was closer. I want the enemy to maintain the same speed and just change directions.

    Solutions?

  • Thank you!

  • could you attach a image of the eventsheet instead? I'm not home atm with my computer that has construct installed, but I'm very curious how you did it.

  • bumping it up, really need help!

  • Both won't work.

First: Doesn't help, still just fires from gun 1 but with a bigger delay

Last one: If you remove both "Every x seconds" it produces an unlimited amount of bullets, just a thick line of them.

Here is the capx so you can have a harder look

  • Tried it but it won't work. Still fires from only 1 gun.

    This is my eventsheet:

    <img src="http://i.imgur.com/SFFDnS9.png" border="0" />

    Imagepoint 1: Gun 1

    Imagepoint 3: Gun 2

  • So the title isn't really explaining too much so here we go:

I want my character (who has 2 guns) shoot from both, but not even. So there's 0.3 secs delay between each shot. So ex: shoot gun 1, wait 0.3 secs, shoot gun 2, wait 0.3 secs, shoot gun 1 etc etc.

Now I have fixed image points etc and I've fixed to every 0.3 secs he shoots from gun 1. But how do I do now?

If anyone need pic or capx, tell me.

  • Yes it is!

    Thank very much!

  • Now my next question (don't know if it's possible at the moment):

I tried to make him fire bullets when holding down left mouse button. Bullets are spawning correctly (1 per 0.35 sec).

But when I tried to make them go at different directions for when he's facing another way, they just change everytime my mouse moves and character switches animation.

I added "angle of motion" on every direction event, this is how the event sheet looks like:

Download a .capx here if you're OP:
