  • when uploading a game what is the file size limit?

  • I uploaded a game and it's still in early development, I uploaded it to show it to a friend of mine who's helping me with the art work. Anyway it got a 2 star rating and I was wandering if I updated the game would it delete the ratings or keep it? I don't think it would be fair if an updated version of the game had the rating of a previous version so I need to know this to decide whether I should update it or whether I should upload the update as a new game. Thanks in advance.

  • Yeah I have read the manual, I must say it is fabulous but I'm getting stuck where it says

"To test your game, enter its URL (e.g. from the public link on Dropbox) to the Launcher app, and press Launch current. CocoonJS will download the zip, then launch the game."

    1) I get the URL: dropbox.com/s/nbx55wz0ge87z2x/newproject.zip

    2) I copy it into CocoonJS and tap launch.

    3) It tries to unzip but then an error occurs saying "Failed to unzip:

       Failed to open Zip file"

but when Ashley sent me the link, it worked fine, I don't know how he got that link though. I don't know how you got that link Ashley, please help.

  • I'm actually using chrome, I don't use either firefox or internet explorer but I don't think the browser is the problem, I think it's the URL

  • Ashley, that link you posted actually worked, thank you so much! I was just wandering where you got it from, I didn't share that link with you did I?

  • oh you want the .capx, sorry I thought you wanted the exported file, here's the link to all the files in my .capx project:

    dropbox.com/sh/93gf4buuh8pafd7/Nb2U9Xf7Fx

  • I enter the URL in cocoonJS after uploading it to dropbox but it says it can't download the zip file. I thought it might have been because part of a code in javascript wasn't working or something.

  • So I created a Construct 2 project, very simple, I included CocoonJS into my project. I then tried to export the project through CocoonJS. It creates a zip folder called new project in my document. I open the zip folder and double click the javascript file. I also tried unzipping the folder and then double clicking the javascript file.

Either way it comes up with the following error messages:

    Line: 1452

    Char: 9

Error: Expected identifier, string or number

    Code: 800A0404

    Source: Microsoft JScript compilation error

Please help me, I don't know what to do, I tried putting the zip folder in the drop box and downloading it with the iPhone with the CocoonJS application and it says that it can't unzip the file.
