  • Hi guys

Are you developing any updates, or do you have plans to create a solution so that we can export games to the XBox through the IDios@Xbox program?

You may already be aware that Microsoft no longer accepts games created by UWP in the IDios@XBox program, and if we export games compiled by UWP within the UWP program, we will not be able to insert achievements or leaderboards, and this greatly affects sales. of games on this platform.

You could create something similar to what Unity does, developers go to the platform (In this case ID@XBox), register, and if approved, have access to their platform, and there, through an option, request for Microsoft to notify you that they are licensed developers, when you receive this notice, you release within the user account (With the same email registered with Microsoft), the option to export to the XBox (One, S and X).

To create the builds, you can create an internal solution on your servers that uses MonoGame, a platform that compiles games, not only for Xbox, but also for Playstation and Nintendo, MonoGame is completely free and works with C#, so I believe that would not have any major difficulties in creating this support.

I'm a DEV from Brazil, and here we are seeing several developers leave Construct and go to Unreal, just because Construct doesn't offer the feature of exporting games to IDios@Xbox (Other than through UWP)
