  • Hey guys,

    Thanks for your feedback and sorry for late answer, as I was offline travelling after easter.

    The good news is I left Apple 2 mails in the Resolution Center, explaining that it's a webview wrapped game, and is not meant to use extra ios features, and it would break overall game feeling, and they... continued the review and accepted the game

    It looks like human level interaction worked out this time, and I'm genuinely surprised by the outcome of my messages.

    After all, we're all people

    Thanks again,

    Take care!

  • Hi guys,

    I just got my game rejected by the App Store, for very interesting reason:

    "10.6 Details

    We noticed an issue in your app that contributes to a lower quality user experience than Apple users expect. Specifically, your app included limited iOS features. App Store apps should use native iOS buttons and include iOS features other than just web views, Push Notifications, or sharing."

    I exported the game through Cordova, which is basically a webview wrapper. No surprises here. The game itself does not use features like Game Center or IAP, as it doesn't fit it.

    I read over the internet that the rejection is because of the game simply being a wrapped webview. I have no idea what to do in order to get the game approved by the App Store.

    Did any of you had similar issues?

    Here's the link to the game so you can check it out and let me know if you find something that can be done / added to improve it so it will pass AppStore review process:

    Thanks,

    Happe easter!

    Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

    Exception Details: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: D:\Uploads\framerate-dependent-motion.png

    Source Error:

    The source code that generated this unhandled exception can only be shown when compiled in debug mode. To enable this, please follow one of the below steps, then request the URL:

    1. Add a "Debug=true" directive at the top of the file that generated the error. Example:

    <%@ Page Language="C#" Debug="true" %>

    or:

    2) Add the following section to the configuration file of your application:

    <configuration>

    <system.web>

    <compilation debug="true"/>

    </system.web>

    </configuration>

    Note that this second technique will cause all files within a given application to be compiled in debug mode. The first technique will cause only that particular file to be compiled in debug mode.

    Important: Running applications in debug mode does incur a memory/performance overhead. You should make sure that an application has debugging disabled before deploying into production scenario.
