  • HotGod you can create a project with your favourite definitions and save this as a template, then when starting a new project use this and save in the final location.

  • CrudeMik what is the version of construct?Because ive noticed slowdowns in my physics game when i started using version r68, in r67 it rans very smoothly.I'll try r69 and see what happens.

  • Thanks!

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • This happens in Win Xp, Construct r68 as well.

  • When one object with physics behavior(immovable- no) overlaps other object (immovable- yes), world gravity doesn't change.I Have this event:

spacebar is down-object set physics world gravity to -10.

Then the gravity only affects objects that don?t have other physics objects overlaping them.

    Here's an example:

  • Thank you guys for those great thoughts.

That " Pacing" video is fantastic, im a music composer and i already use this concept for years, but i dindt realize that it can be used for game design and...everything else! thank you!

  • HI,i would like to know your opinion about difficulty level in games.Nowadays most games, like those in facebook and all over the net are mostly for casual gamers, i dont know if there is still a place for games that requires more skill and logical thinking.Im working on a project and i have already 30 levels in my game, but my wife can only beat 3 levels!, so it is not only a game design decision to lower the difficulty, because this kind of games lose all interst if they are to easy.

Are people willing to play games that take several attempts to beat one single level?

  • Thanks.

  • Hi, i don't know if it's just me, but i would love to see a visible grid in c2, and the ability to move (inside the layout)image points(origin, etc)and snap those points according to that grid.
