  • Relatively new to Construct 2 and I apologize if this topic has already been addressed, but I cannot seem to find a post on it. 2 questions:

    1. I am adding animation to a sprite. The total size of the images used in the animation is about 700kb, but after adding it and saving, the capx file size grows by more than 4MB. Is this right?

    2. I assume the time it takes to install and load games is related to the capx file size. What would be considered a large capx file size? I realize different types of games will vary greatly here, but generally speaking, is there a point where the file would be considered too big? Is my initial assumption correct?

    Thanks in advance.

  • I figured it out. I left off the "http://" before typing the ip address and it worked fine. Sweet!

  • I was having same problem and I actually posted my own "How Do I" before I found this. My solution, after a lot of searching, was to not type the "http://" before the ip address and it worked! Hope this helps!

  • i have Norton Security Suite and I believe I set up the rule to allow it. i preview my game and it loads fine on laptop. I open Safari on my phone ad type in address and get a Google search. I am really in the dark when it comes to Network items, but I have to think this is a common issue for people. any help would be appreciated.
