  • THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! This site is awesome!

  • This simple business game is a question/answer set up with points or penalties rewarded for each question. The player rolls and proceeds around a board. Each space he lands on is a question/answer or a wild card that gives a bonus/penalty to build his business. Think monpoly. I think it is simply going from one page to the next, with only one or two choices to proceed to the next page. I did a mock up on wix and in theory it worked. Can I just use levels and events to build this type of game?

  • I think Im just gonna build it after I go through a few more tutorials. Let it become its own thing. Thanks for all the responses!

  • Hey your right, it is like Life. It started with playing Build-a-Lot and Railroad Tycoon but I've added dirt and scandal aspects to it. Character really counts and the variables are growing. I'm thinking this thing will need some serious math formulas behind it, any ideas or proven formulas out there? Thanks again.

  • Wow,I have no idea what you call it. I have an idea for a board type game that will require very little as far as movement and effects, bear with me Im brand spankin new. It's in my head and has been for years. Turn based strategy sort of like monopoly with several players building business' in a city for conquest. The board page is a map of players walking through a city on spaces, land on space a screen pops up with options, challenges, bad news etc. During the turn the player can perform actions such as nite school, attacking another player in the form of a knowledge challenge etc. Several "life" levels effect each player, its more about the "mechanics" of player interaction I think. What do you call this type of game? More questions than you want comin up lol. Thanks peeps!
