  thanks dop2000, i have found that it wasn't a problem with the events. I tried my project on my android and it works fine, but it doesn't seem to work on my mac in Chrome. Any ideas? (everything seems to work and it says speech is being recognized, but nothing seems to register)

  i have it so the speech recognition is recognizing speech, but cannot seem to display the result in text.
