  • I'm trying to get music to play on the first run of the game.

    I have a page for loading. It's set to pre-load the music and then push forward. But it seems to ignore that page and none of the music seem's to play till after second or third refresh of the page.

    Please PLEASE do not link any tutorials because I've followed them to the letter and there not working.

    I am using build r161

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Open construct 2 as Admin.

    2. Run for more then 5 hours working on project and only letting auto save save.

    3. Auto save starts to switch to main back up and does not save to main file

    Observed result:

    I've seen this happen at least 3 times, First time it happend i thought all my files where lost after coming back from a break

    Expected result:

    It should be over riding the main file.

    Browsers affected:

    Chrome: yes/no

    Firefox: yes/no

    Internet Explorer: yes/no

    Operating system & service pack:

    Windows 7 Home premium Service pack 1

    Construct 2 version:

    160.2

    I have it

    a box for Answer1 with text in it

    Then a trigger

    system set Answer1 to Random (1,101)

    Tower1 set text to Answer1

    but nothing shows up

  • How do i make Construct 2 pick between numbers?

    I was thinking adding a variable and then having it randomly draw between 1 and X but i can't finger out how to do this. any tips?

  • I followed it three days ago and it worked for me.

    From memory (which is not too good <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> )

    You must run construct 2 as an administrator

    You must allow access through your firewall

    in the other device you enter the address (something like 192.168,1,80:50000) into the web browser.

  • I did all that Ram, It's not working. And so did my team on there end for there devices.

    I followed that to the letter, It is eather Out of date or ...well, Does not work..I googled for at least an hour before posting. Two hours at this before posting

  • There just Ip's in my network, I change them from day to day so no device sits on the same IP.
