  • the simplest fix is to click on the OTHER value and press enter

eg. you wanna change width, you type the number in width, click height, and press enter while in height. vice versa.

if you wanna change both, just type a value in width, click the height, type in height, click width and press enter.

note if my ribbon isn't hidden it doesn't work no matter what i click

Tried that but still not working :/

  • So, I decided to print the Construct 2 book called Level Zero to read it when I didn´t have internet connection or electricity. I have been working on this for a week, and I finally made it. I got a printed version of the amazing C2 book. Now I gotta read it <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /> (I will NOT sell or distribute the book in any way, I just printed it for personal use, since there is no printed version of it, at least in my country). I posted a tiny video showing it: youtube.com/watch

By the way, you can get the PDF book here: scirra.com/blog/172/level-z ... uct-2-book

Hope you liked this thread, which is my fist thread. Also, please consider that I am not a native english speaker, so my english may contain some mistakes.

    Thank you.

Thanks for the feedback How do you feel about learning programming logic with both software? If you just focus on that aspect (without the ease of use) which one do you prefer?

Scratch is not so complex, so you dont have to be thinking about more than the costumes and the scripts. But in construct, you have more complex stuff, so I feel a little more confident with Scratch. But still think C2 is better

  • 1. I've never heard of paying Scirra, other than possibly remembering some sort of profit limit for at least the paid personal version, like $5000?

    2. Not very. There isn't much difference besides interfaces that aren't available, and a 100 event limit.

    3. Depends? You're probably free to upload wherever you want, I think.

Thank you. You answered my questions.

  • Well, I´m new to Construct 2, and I wanted to make some questions before starting using this software. Here they go

1 - I have heard that if I use the free edition and I make money with one of my games, I have to pay to scirra. But... How do I pay scirra? How many money do I have to pay? I searched about it and I found no results.

2 - Is the Free Edition of Construct 2 Too limited?

3 - Are there website where I should not upload my games?

    Thanks
