  • If that's true about local storage then you should create a bug report.

  • There are no 3rd party plugins for C3 yet.

  • Yeah, they were trolling us because of all the comments on rounded corners after they made that blog post. I thought it was hilarious April Fools prank.

This is just my opinion as a C2 hobby user who enjoys the software and has made several small games and am currently 3 years into a major project that is only about half way finished.

Scirra is in the business of making game engine software, they are not in the business of making games. I truly believe that if they were to take 6 months to a year and use that time exclusively to try to make a really good game using their engines, it would completely change their minds on what is really needed in comparison to what is currently being offered.

My opinions on C3 haven't really changed much in the past week. I'm still planning on waiting until it is further developed before putting too much time into checking it out. But I still enjoy C2, respect what the developers are trying to accomplish with C3, as well as browsing these forums. When I notice something positive I always want to try to take the time to give thanks and encouragement.

  • I'm sure it wasn't mods, as there would be no reason for them to delete posts from here. Hopefully my post didn't infer that, as that was never my intent.

  • Someone deleted posts from this thread as well for some reason.

  • I don't mind the multi-color tabs, but the colors need to be more coordinated so they have value, such as making different tabs more easily identifiable.

  • The more detailed you can make your official documentation the better (for anything). Tutorials and the like should be supplemental to any official documentation.

  • I want to give props to Ashley and the other devs. It has to be hard with all the bug reports coming in (especially with lots of duplicates and going through the same stuff repeatedly). It's only been a few days since launch and they are trudging their way through the bugs and many of them have already been fixed or are getting fixed in the next version. Good job with that!

  • It also makes previewing games more fun.

A bit off topic but is the gamepad functionality working in c3 yet? Chromecast + controller = win
