  • What are the odds of getting something like this either implemented into Contruct, or made available by a plugin?

    Being able to use two mice in a game could open up some great multiplayer opportunities, or offer advanced double mouse control in a single player game!

  • Hope I'm not treading on toes by posting here, but I haven't seen a general 'game resources' thread. Maybe one should be setup?

    I have a collection of various sprites and animations on my webpage - http://tymargames.co.uk/

    All free to use (commercial use included) for whatever you want - hopefully one or two of you might something useful

  • That's OK then, so the OPs graphics will be padded to 2048x1024, and not 2048x2048 as suggested.

  • Try Construct 3

    Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Just on a side note... Does this mean that Construct has to use square textures? So a 512x256 image will be internally padded to 512x512? Seems as if Construct is doing the wasting as video cards have had support non-square textures for years.

    Edit to clarify: Yes, textures should be in a power of two for efficiency, but do they need to be square?

  • D'oh, that was it. So many things to click on...

    Thanks.

  • In my layout I have some sprites over towards the left. Everything is set to run at 800x600.

    Exhibit 1:

    <img src="http://www.oharse.co.uk/temp/LayoutView.png">

    The darkblue 'border' is part of the game screen, and is within the 800x600 view.

    When I run the layout, the view is centered over the sprites I've setup.

    Exhibit 2:

    <img src="http://www.oharse.co.uk/temp/GameView.png">

    This is not what I want. The game view should be the same as the layout view.

    I'm using the Advanced Camera plugin, but it doesn't matter if I take that out. I need to shift the camera over to the right somehow, but using the Advanced Camera options of setting the X and Y position doesn't seem to help.

    I'm sure I'm missing simple, but I'm surpised it's happened at all. I would have thought that when you set stuff up on the layout, that's exactly how it would look in the game.

  • I had problems with the original download reporting that the file was corrupt last night (still do today using a different PC and a different ISP). The mirror link is working though.

    Can't wait to have a play with this, and with Construct in general
