  The computer has an i5 processor and 8 GB of ram so it's good there. It does have an intel graphics card, will that really be a problem?

  As for Soldjaboy, the laptop I'm looking at: amazon.com/XPS-Performance- ... =pc&sr=1-3 has 8 gb of ram. The price in the US is $880, what is an alternative at this price? Those GIGABYTE laptops seem nice but anything $1000+ is outside my range. (the 13.3 inch screen is a downer yes, I would like atleast 15 or so)

  I am purchasing a new laptop and was wondering if the Dell XPS 13 is adequate for game creation using construct 2. If not what is a good alternative?

  So I open a new project and double click the layout and add a tiled background, I make it the size of the entire layout yet I can't see anything but the blue outline indicating its presence, same goes for any sprite I add they're all invisible minus the blue outline. I'm working with one layer, what am I doing wrong/not doing?
