  You don't need the two Character loops - just Pick by comparison/evaluate. Aside from that, if you place Character in a Family, you can then avoid the single reference issue as you can iterate over that Family against the Character - just be sure to skip the same object.

  To further complicate things, C2 doesn't let you pick a newly created object until the next top level event, so that's getting in your way too. One trick is to put a "Wait 0" before your function call. This will suspend the call until the end of the event sheet and call it then, allowing the pick.

  On event sheet healthBar, event 10, you are checking for tookDamg, but you aren't picking the single enemy-health objects, so all are showing. You need to maybe use a container to associate those items and use a UID to pick one item that is linked to the enemy.

  Try doing a Pick where damgDealt=0, then a For each canDamg.

  This uses the Timer behaviour. "time" starts at the beginning of the game, and can't be reset.

  You need to read the comments at the end. On page 2 there are complaints that the author didn't mention that the array defaults to 10x1x1. It needs to be changed to 2x2x1. Select the BlockPositions object (array) in the projects tab and then over on the Properties tab, change the width & height to 2.

  If you made more than one "codebox_shotgun_stats" you need to pick the correct one first. Note, you don't need the "Group is active" test as that code can only be reach IF the group is active!

  Might depend on which browser you use. In IE, it shows "canvas2d" and doesn't pulse. The text is set by the one event. Disable it or change it as desired.

  I've had another look, and I've come to the same conclusion. I can't control the aliasing mode - MS just doesn't provide the control. There's nothing wrong with v1.x. I just couldn't provide the outline support in the older framework. It still works fine when absolute control over aliasing is required.

  As for the Bold issue, again, the font dialog is a MS dialog that I have no control over. I tried the same font, and it insists on reporting Bold. There's not much I can do about this I'm afraid.
