    of course Construct is mainly for game design but i wondered, if there are some projects/programs made with C2, that are no games.

    Searching the forum, I found a calculator or a timetable software.

    What else is possible? Show off if you like :)

    it�s me again :) I "finished" my first game and made a little app too, recognizing that it�s pretty tricky to make a game run fluent on mobiles. Nevermind, I want to start a new project.

    I want to make a card game and it should be a bit like a trading card one. If you win a fight, there should be chance for special cards to drop.

    How can I make a Nickname/Login-Menu and how can I save the cards of my players, that they are there again when they play next day/next week/nex year

    If you know good tutorials, feel free to post them.

  • Hello guys,

    after dozens of hours, I�d like to present my very first "bigger" game made with construct2....Beavarena!

    It�s a game for 2 people on one PC, played with the keyboard.

    All graphics are done by me and the music is from jamendo.com.

    All soundeffects are from freesound.org

    It�s still a "beta"-version, but I liked to show "something" :)

    Hope some of you checks it out, it can be really fun, if you play together.

  • Hey guys, i�ve got another problem.

    My menu is splitted into 2 layouts, which both shouldn�t interrupt the funky-menu song, starting on start of layout1 :)

    I could handle the problem of re and restarting again, switching between menu1 and menu2, using a variable but how the **** do i let it stop?

    I want the song to stop on clicking the start game button, but it doesn�t work, neither as a music nor as a sound file.

    Please help me :)

    I tried the Pin-To-Object Function for the first time today and i got it work.

    The only problem is, that the player gets incredibly slow if i add a pinned object to him.

    How can I solve that?

  • It just displayed "text" but now I solved it.

    There was no eventsheet targeting the layout, silly me :D

    can you please help me?? I have about 6 global variables and I need to find out which is the biggest at the end of the game.

    Is there any other possibility than

    Variable 1 > Variable2 --> do this and that

    Variable 1 > Variable3

    Variable 1 > Variable4

    Variable 1 > Variable5

    Variable 1 > Variable6

    that is not necessary I guess, perhaps someone got a hint for me :)

  • sounds pretty clear now :) but what is the expression to check which variable is the biggest?

    Aren�t there just >< and equal ?

    If there is not an expression, this would be lots of events to calculate right^^

    Or can i check more then one variable?

    Variable MachineGun > than (VariablePlasmaGun/VariableCrossbow etc)

    I�ve got a problem :)

    I organized the weapons of my character using different animations. Works pretty fine so far. Now I want to add some gettin-shot-effects and if I use "set animation", the effect doesn�t end of course.

    Is there any possibility, to switch back to my latest animation

    like

    MachineGunAnimation -> hit-by-bullet-animation -> MachineGunAnimation

    I can�t just add MachineGunAnimation again, because he can carry different weapos while getting hit.
