Removing private variables from a family will still cause construct to crash for me.
I get around this issue by removing each member individually from the family, removing their pv, and putting them back into the family.
It's a pain in the butt.
Some video cards have issues rendering images that aren't divisible by 2, just resize the image in the image editor. The player sprite probably has an odd dimension.
Example: 32x32 or 160x8 will work fine, but 31x32 or 159x7 will look distorted.
There is a set animation angle and you could rotate it as well in events.
Try deleting the .persist file for your cap.

Has anyone made a program to automatically remove them? They always screw up for me and I'm getting really tired of deleting them hehe.

I'd like a tutorial on creating tile based movement..so the player character only moves one tile at a time like early rpgs and turn based games.
If there is already a post/cap file explaining this please link, I can't find one.
