  Well, it's hard to look at it as a game creator in its own right when it's called "The Sims Carnival Game Creator". Looks like just a promo.

  See lines 12 and 13. If neither of these events are true (which is down to random chance), then tickx('speed') is 0, so 'normspeed' stays the same. Where are you going with this anyway? Is it some crazy game? :S

  By the way... you can add attachments to any posts... you dont have to put them all in the upload forum!

  I've tried it and I can't find any way to edit the games other than via some kind of wizard asking questions about the game (eg. "How fast should the enemies move?"). Is that it? A series of heavily modifiable presets? Is there an actual code or event editor anywhere?

  What do you mean customizable? You can set the timescale to any float from 0 upwards, the demo just uses 6 different values to show how it works. If you've got sound on, as well, listen for Directsound timescaling the audio as well.

  Containers create and destroy together, but they also all pick together in the events. If an event picks one of the instances in the container, all instances in the container are picked.

  A lot of games disallow bot or assisted gameplay, counting it as cheating, and actively look for bot accounts and ban them. You should play the game the same way everybody else does!

  Sprites ARE textures on quads, but traditionally your trapezioid-shaped graphics come from using ordinary rectangular quads and viewing them at a 3D angle - in 2D, top down, you're actually just squashing the texture in to a funny shape. Still, a 3D sprite object is possible - it'd work like a single-faced 3D box object.

  I think you'd have to write a shader for this. I'm not sure all video cards can render distorted quads (eg. not just skewed but with perspective, and edges of differing length and not parallel to the opposite side) in 2D, without using actual 3D rendering. But I'll see if I can get something working.

  That's a good start. I think plugin documentation should be like a reference, comprehensively defining what every action, condition and expression does. However for objects like INI, a general overview of how the INI file works is very useful too, because it's particularly relevant. Thanks for doing the page!

  Sorry, you can't do this in Construct at the moment. Somebody would have to write a plugin. I don't have time!

  This has been reported a couple of times, and I think I know what's happening and how other programs are conflicting with Construct. I'm on it.
