  • Hopefully they still do, i just sent mine!

  • The demos for the top down shooter show it, u may wanna give them a look. But pretty much the pin behavior is whats used for such thing. Just make sure the pin behavior is on the gun, not the player. And that u create an image point for the gun to pin to

  • Great concept!!! You sure know your ways around C2

  • no problem

  • I think u can do it in a couple of ways. One would be to place that button in a separate layer, set original visibilty to invisible, and set that layer to parallax 0,0, that way it wont move from the position u put it overall, and just call it visible when you desire. Also make sure you make some code to make it only usable when is visible

  • What ive done is make the images in a bigger size when im creating them, pretty much i set my canvas at the size of the window size i will use in C2, the images come up looking as in my editor, just b careful with memory

  • as far as I know, you have to go through the debugging, and as I understand, depending on where you are gonna publish your game(android, windows, etc) you need to have it run throught their sdk, like visual studio for Windows, eclipse on android. So I don't think there is a straight forward, drag and drop option. But I could be wrong, I'm not too into programming either, but trying hard to build a game in C2

  • I would love to help brother, just give me a bit, and I'll help you as much as i can

  • its easy, lets say you have it like this:

    EVENT // ACTION

    on click / [,] // character/ start attack animation

what you need to do is create another event, similar to the regular shooting, or standing shooting, but this time, add an extra condition, like this:

    EVENT // ACTION

    on click / [,] // character/ start crouchAttack animation

    character / is animation"crouch" playing

you add it by right clicking in the event section, and select add another condition, on the same( click[,]) event

  • Have you tried the save and load action?

  • pretty much you need 2 sprites on the tank, one the base, and one the turret. You will need to add the pin and the turret behavior to the turret, and when created, or at the start of layout, call in for the turret to pin to object, in this case the base(position and angle) and add the proper events and actions to the turret to track the target and shoot

  • Trust us on this one, is very worth it.

  • you can add a different animation on that sprite(character), and whenever you wanna "transform" that character call in such animation, by whatever action you decide
