  • Hey all. Let's say I wanted to make a game where the user has to shake their mobile device as many times as possible back and forth within a certain time period in order to make it look like a sprite on screen is breaking/splitting/cracking apart bit by bit more and more the more the user/player shakes their mobile device. How could I achieve this? Could someone provide an example with a capx file?

  • Say I wanted to have a sprite look like it is rolling down a hill that is angled downwards at a slant of like 45 degrees. How could I make it look like the sprite is constantly rotating/spinning while staying at same exact location throughout whole preview/game while the background is constantly scrolling backwards the whole time giving the impression that the sprite is constantly moving downwards?

  • How would I incorporate the swiping up effect tho for if I wanted the player to have to swipe up with their finger on the object/sprite in order to shoot him upwards? And how could I make it look like the cups are behind the player sprite but also further in the distance compared to the player sprite? I am trying to achieve the paper toss boss ios game effect to make it like that game.

  • Hey all. How could I incorporate swiping motion with finger for mobile devices with construct 2? For instance, what if I wanted to make a game where I have to toss paper into a bin by flicking/swiping the paper upwards to get further upwards to land into bin that is ahead of paper in upwards direction. How would you all make this look realistic and what would the code look like? Would someone mind posting a capx example?

  • http://imgur.com/a/JORp5 .... If you look at this link, I tried this similar to what you said sup with that and it didn't work. It gets faster but then stops moving at a certain point and doesn't get faster anymore unless I shift/move the mouse after it stops moving . Either way, it still isn't just progressively getting faster. The sprite/object will either get faster and then stop moving or will get faster progressively but then stops getting faster and stays at same speed. Any ideas/help?

  • Sup with that?...your example speeds up and gets faster but then slows back down after speeding up over time. Can you make it so that it just keeps speeding up over time and never stops getting faster?
