  • Very Nice. My only complaints are the controls, but that's because I used a keyboard for this.

The gameplay reminds me a bit of hotline miami.

My only complaint besides the graphics (But I know they are placeholders), lack of sound (That I know you'll add), is that the character moves too sluggishly on foot. If the character and the projectiles were faster it would be better.

The only glitch I noticed is when I clicked on the level ++ icon and my character couldn't stop moving southwest.

    Good Job and Improve!

  • Okay so, I've been feeling around Construct 2 a bit, and I really like it. But I have a problem.

See I'm making the control setup very similar to the original Warioland Games, mainly that you have a charging melee attack that can also count towards a running jump. The problem is, I don't know how to make it change direction while it's doing it.

I took the coding from BAClog's megaman clone prototype. I just found his code and decided to alter it a bit so it could be used as a charge (Hope he doesn't mind). After fixing the problem of the player moving on it's own and other troubleshoots I found a good solution, only one problem. The player can't turn left while charging. They can move when they finish and do a backflip-like jump, but they can't change direction. Any solutions would be appreciated. I'd also like any advice for making the controls a bit smootherScreencap

    Thanks

  • A little desperate huh? Don't worry, I've been there before

Anyway, I'll seen your stuff and your pretty good.

As for me? I'm still working on the concept for my game. And I have no disposable income or any sure way of knowing if I'll sell this game.

I will however, try and get a Job in January and then I might hire you.

But in the meantime I'll keep an eye out for you.
